Brain Injury Awareness Global Picnic Day June 30, 2012

02 Jul

Our family celebrated with much love and friendships during the first annual global picnic day Saturday, June 30, 2012.  This was definitely a family affair.  Everyone pitched in equally and we enjoyed the day.  Rather then write about Saturday I’ll use the pictures to tell the story.  Participants included those who understand the invisible injuries more then anyone else.  Take a look and enjoy!

The pets are an important part of bringing everyone together, too I see! I’m sure the collective stories in that setting would be incredible to hear. I’m glad for such a bonding occasion. Mutual support is a wonderful goal! Debra

I didn’t write as I’m overwhelmed right now. I have a number of comments I need to reply to. I’m leaving Ohio and returning to Michigan today, it’s too much for me to handle. I can’t deal with too much stimuli…so for everyone waiting for a response I’ll get to it as soon as it’s quiet and I can think!

I enjoyed having everyone. It gets a bit overwhelming though…and I’m still recovering!

I can see how it would be both a joy and overwhelming – get some rest!
        Bless you!
