Thanks for posting this. I was thrilled to find your site – many interesting posts. I taught health-care ethics for over twenty years but never thought too much about disability until my daughter was hit by a car and I had to navigate my way through the health-care system. Now all my research and writing is in this field. Keep up the good work.

It’s my pleasure. The goal is to keep educating people so they can make the best decisions. I’m sorry to hear about your daughter. We never realize how difficult it is to navigate the health-care system until it becomes personal. How is she doing? What is the most difficult change for your family and her in daily life? I’m always open to suggestions. I wish I could read and post more, but that’s another goal.
