Protect our nurses from violence: Kennedy-Nurse violence

24 Mar

The law applies to some and others get away with bad behavior or criminal behaviors. Either way, the nurses can easily be injured.  Quit beating up our nurses!  Most child/infant abductions are by family members.  These nurses were doing their job!

Edie, I took the link and read the news article. It makes me wonder if the case will go to court or be settled between lawyers.

To me, to begin with, it was just such a strange thing for parents to do, in taking their newborn out for a walk. Plus there are rules against that, and the nurses were simply acting to protect the infant, which is their job. I’m sorry this happened. What a mess. I hope that he learned from this to follow the rules that all of us must follow and to be kind. If this is true, he needs to be ashamed and ask the nurses’ forgivenss.

Maria, I’ve been following this case. Knowing how things work within the system, I believe it will still go in favor of Kennedy. But who takes the alarm band off their infant and wants to take them out in the cold air, a newborn? Thanks for reading and understanding violence against nurses is rampant. We need to protect our nurses. Edie

I just don’t understand his wanting to take the baby out, without an infant harness, or blanky, any protection. Yes, and the wrist band off. None of it makes sense, Edie.

You do know the system better than I do, and so I won’t be surprised at that outcome. It is good for me to keep up with what you’re doing and posting — this is a whole other world, a real one, for me to understand.

        Blessings to you!
        Maria
